Hi there,

This happened suddenly and with poor timing. Can you help me understand how this happened?

Also please do try to recover the file. I've spent nearly a year on this project and I was just wrapping it up today.

Thanks!

1. I'm on macOS Monterey
2. I don't know the Affinity version number, but it was prior to the current. 2.2.0. I have since updated to the latest in hopes recovering the file on my end and I don't know the version number at the time of last saving.
3. Saved to Local Drive (Desktop or Downloads folder)

Hi @ajones2809and Welcome to the Forums,

I'll need to log the file with the Developers to see if it's something they are able to recover, as it's not something I've been able to recover myself.  This isn't always a quick process, so I can't give you any ETA on when it will be looked at, sorry.

If you have a backup file of the project, I would suggest using that for now.
