Hi

Are there any documentation for plugin development for affinity? I could not find any docs or guides on the subject on the forums nor in http://affinity.help .

I couldn't even find what kind of features could be implemented, and all the plugins I've seen in the plugin-store are just assets.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Only Photo has Plugins, and they are an old form of image plugin (.8bf file) originally created for Photoshop. So, document for creating that kind of Photoshop plugin might be useful for you.

Alternatively, there is at least one Open Source plugin, G'Mic, which has a version that works with Photo on Windows, that you could use as a model.

Other than that, there is no documentation I've ever seen.

Hi and welcome to the forums. Serif have stated that scripting and plugin support is in development but they have time provided an estimate for when it will be ready.

There's a very, very long thread with lots of discussion

Cheers
