brentpedersen Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 When I create an anchor and a hyperlink, if the anchor is deleted the hyperlink is "broken" (has a default anchor, the first in my list). I want to find all hyperlinks that point to that default anchor to see if they are in fact broken. Is there a way to search among my hyperlinks for a list of the ones that point to that default anchor? Quote

brentpedersen Posted October 11, 2023 Author Posted October 11, 2023 Yes, but short of check each one (one at a time) I don't see a way to search for all hyperlinks that reference a specific anchor. Then I could search the default anchor and see if the links are appropriate. Quote

The Hyperlinks panel shows you exactly which ones are broken: firstdefence 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. brentpedersen Posted October 11, 2023 Author Posted October 11, 2023 Good point. Thanks. I assumed when I opened the "edit hyperlink" that it was filling in a default link, but I think it's just showing my the drop-down list because no selection existed (it was broken). Thank you again. walt.farrell 1 Quote
