wvlookdeeper Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 My paragraphs use Justified left. But when I shift-enter for a new paragraph (to prevent an empty line) the last line of the previous paragraph is fully stretched to the right. When I just use Enter, the justification is correct, but I get an empty line... How can I prevent this? Quote

It just gives you a short line in the middle of the current paragraph, and Justified Left justifies all lines except the last one. Your "fix" for the blank line that using Enter would give you is to set Space After to 0 in the Paragraph panel, or in the Paragraph Text Style: You probably have something like 12 pt, but setting it to 0 will allow you to properly end the paragraph with Enter (Paragraph Break), which makes the short line truly the last line of the paragraph, so justification won't apply when you use Justified Left.
