I had someone put a project together for me, and after delivery I needed to go back and change some of the wording. After loading the project on my Mac, I can't get particular fonts that the designer used to come through on my end - even though they are listed in the project files. Can anyone help?

Hi @jtnelson and welcome to the forums,

Did the person who created the artwork for you also provide the fonts used in the artwork and if they did, have you installed them on your Mac?

The fact that they are shown as missing in Preflight suggests they are not currently installed on your system.

Welcome to the Affinity Forums @jtnelson :)

Can you please confirm for me, are you opening an .afpackage or .afpub file within Publisher please?

By default, an .afpackage file will be generated with additional folders by the app, containing all of the images/fonts used within a document - allowing you to open the full project on a machine that does not have these fonts available.

However an .afpub document does not include any externally installed fonts or linked images, meaning they will show as 'Missing' when opening this document on a different device, if the fonts are not already installed on your OS.
