Does Affinity 2 publisher have a basic photo editor built in.  I'm a page plus user and liked the PhotoLab for cropping and color adjustments of photo's.  I do not need any advanced photo editing functions.  My concern is if I move to windows 11 that page Plus 9 will not work anymore.  In that case I would upgrade.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

No, Publisher does not have a Photo editor. If you also own Affinity Photo (at the same release level as Affinity Publisher) you can use the Photo Persona in Publisher, but otherwise you need to use an external editor of some kind.

1. Cropping can be simulated by using a Rectangle "clipped" to the image or by using a Picture Frame (Picture Frame Tool)

2. Some colour adjustment can be done using an Adjustment layer on the image

E.g.

Black & White
Brightness / Contrast
Colour Balance
Curves
Exposure
Recolour
Selective Colour
Shadows / Highlights
Vibrance
White Balance

....and others

Suggest you download the trial version of Publisher to see if it has enough image editing within it for your needs or if you will need to purchase Affinity Photo also
