genkin Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Hi, I have a question how can i make my mask I am painting on appear transparent (e.g. in re like photoshop does) while I'm paining.? I need to see the area which I have already painted and the image at the same time, and my mask can only appear non-transparent black, which covers my image
thomaso Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 If you have the "Quick Mask" modus with transparent red overlay mind press "Q" on your keyboard. • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.6.2 | Affinity V2.6.3

QM it gives me the selection, but when I return to my layer, I only see the selection i.e marching ants, and have to paint on my mask all over again. not a productive way to work 😕
