Affinty Photo V 2.2 astro stack error

I just upgraded to V 2.2

Went to do a new astrophotography stack. Hours later stuck. Tried to restart, same issue.  Stuck.

Won't process. I have a fast processor, lots of memory.  Any ideas> ( Processing FITS files)

Welcome to the forums @Risktkr,

When the stack is processing, is anything happening on screen or is the app just in a frozen/unresponsive state? Could you also confirm what Operating System you're using?

Does it make any difference if you try disabling Hardware Acceleration under Edit > Preferences > Performance, restart the app when prompted and then try the stack again? If it continues to fail with Hardware Acceleration disabled, could you possibly provide the FIT/FITS files used in the stack so we can see if the issue can be replicated?
