Importing InDesign text

Recommended Posts

Just a quicky here... I've been giving Designer the once over (again) to see if anything has changed. I find when I copy and paste text, from InDesign, it seems to carry over text regarding any Index markers I've made; obviously I don't want or need that so, is there a 'correct' way of bring ing text in without the Index marker text?

@cdw Ideally text wants to be imported with none or little formatting applied. This then allows you to use the text tools, styling etc within our apps to apply to the text, without third party formatting causing any issues.

We've had requests to add an option to clear text formatting, so could be something for the future.
