Hywel Harris Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 I'm sure the answer is out there, I've spent far too long looking in the help files and searching here (no results), but how when entering text to you activate the shortcut to swap to the Move tool (v). ?? I'd like to set my own shortcuts that involve Ctrl or Alt but that isn't allowed it seems. Anything involving just letters is just going to enter those letters into your text.....grrr.... Quote
Old Bruce Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 Escape, Escape and a letter for a tool will do. Hit the escape key once and you deselect any highlighted text, hit it a second time you remove the text caret from the text and just have the text frame selected but you still are using the Text Tool, hit it a third time and you are still usiing the Text Tool but nothing is selected. I have a button on my Wacom Tablet set to generate the keystrokes: Escape, Escape, V. This gives me the move tool. Or you can use the mouse to select the appropriate tool at anytime. stokerg 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
