Unexpected closing of the program when opening a JPG and PDF file or from Windows - system folder - File Explorer/Open with/. The program closes mainly when you try to open large files or files with an unsupported format. Repeated attempts after restarting Windows 11 end in the same way, the program does not even show an error message.

I uninstalled all the programs and installed them again. Unfortunately, after the system restarting, Photo did not open image files and closed every time. The program can be opened normally, but an attempt to load the same files (original jpg from a Nikon camera) ends with closing.

Unable to take screenshots or provide clues as to why the program closed. Attached is the type of window from which the file was opened.

Hi @yopsand Welcome to the Forums,

First thing to try, can you just click Edit>Settings and on the Performance section if Hardware Acceleration is ticked, can you untick that and close Settings and you'll be asked to restart Affinity.  Once restarted, try opening a file and let me know the results.

If you still get a crash, have a read of this post which will tell you where the crash reports are stored and if you could reply here and attach the latest crash report, I can get that looked at.
