Canvas rotation revisited

I’ve been shifting my illustration work to Photo and Designer and I’ve been pretty thrilled with the Affinity apps, but the canvas rotation feature needs some serious work. (I know there are other topics but they seemed pretty old.) There really needs to be a canvas rotation tool, like the hand (pan) tool. Relying on the scroll wheel is awkward for a Cintiq or other drawing tablet user and using the wheel function on a device like the ones mentioned, while functional, is less intuitive for me. Wacom touch, at least on a Cintiq, is so bad that it’s unusable, with constant marks being made by my palm, so that isn’t an option. I also work on a desktop so the Apple touchpad rotation isn’t an option and is also extremely awkward when using any sort of screen or non screen drawing device. I’ve tried it on my partners laptop. A rotation tool would allow for quick single key access for canvas rotation would really streamline many illustrator’s  workflows.
