Publisher crashes every time I open my file

Recommended Posts

I saved the file in the cloud and then closed the program. As a result, I accessed it with my laptop (Affinity Publisher is also installed there), was able to access it and also scroll through it. I then made a change and saved the file again (in the cloud). When I wanted to make another change, the program crashed. Opening the file was then neither possible on the laptop nor on the computer. After that the message appears.

The program runs on an iMac with Ventura 13.6. The format is A4 double pages, the file comprises about 150 pages and amounts to about 3 GB. Most images are linked, only a few embedded, but there are a lot of images included.

How can I save the file?

- possibly open an older autosave file? Where would I find them?

- would an update be of any use? However, I'm on version 2.2.0

My last backup was 2 days ago, but since then a lot of work has been done on the file...

Schau Dir diesen thematisch ähnlichen Thread an ...

Thank you for your help, @v_kyr.

Danke sehr nochmals
