I'm trying to edit my brushes for the past 40 mins, in it crashes always,

I hope they will fix this sooner

Yeah! I resorted to re-installing and clearing all the brush sets. Just using later brush sets ie created with 2.0,2.1 at the moment!.. I did some checking see see whether it was older brush not compatible with the changes in 2.1 2.2 But I have had a couple of crashes even when you create a set in 2.2 from scratch...I keep picking at the issue to see if I can isolate it but not having much success. I can work with the brushes as long as you don't want to edit them too much!

After update to 2.2 I have by using brushes (paint mixer, fingerpaint, name it...) no responding errors. Slow exporting. pfffff
I have try both stable 2.2 and the leatest beta.  For 2.2 I had to set opencl to off so I can do some work.  I'am not happy with this one.

Still Crashing on the Brushes panel, when creating brushes or moving brushes.

How big is your raster_brushes.propcol file?

Have you considered making a backup copy of that file (and vector_brushes.propcol) then doing a Ctrl run-up and doing a Reset Brushes? (You should make sure none of the V2 applications are running. Also, you will need to reinstall brushes in Photo and Designer after the Reset. So you might want to Export your vector and pixel brushes before the reset to help recovery. And if you're not linking all the brush categories, you might need to export from multiple applications.)

Sorry, I have no idea what is this raster_brushes.propcol  (I use windows and can't find this file in my search explorer)

I've already tried to reset the brush to factory,
I've already reinstalled the apps.

Even creating a normal round brush, the app still crashes, as the following attachment

Hi @JhonatanS Sorry to hear you are still having problems!.. I think we are seeing the same issue!

I had not considered it to be an issue with the propcol..might be.. don't know. I have very few brush sets installed in the live version (Only the ones I created ..11 sets! probably 30 brushes in each). For the Beta version I have all the default sets + Frankentoon Splat + 15 of my own sets . They are all linked with the exception of new version of Big-T which I was unable to finish or re-edit as it crashed almost every-time I tried to edit them! (Only recover with shutting out the app with windows!). I tried switching off the new Brush Functions in the Context menu 1 at a time but that well failed!

I still see another issue when clicking  | jumping between brushes rapidly on a brush (i.e. to change brush) in the brush Panel does not always reflect the content in the window of the dynamics panel it appears to get a bit lost sometimes...I reported it somewhere!

Personally...

I am just using the brushes as they are for the time-being. Comic Ink Blocking is the latest set I created.. been using it  a lot but definitely not going to attempt any edits!..I was going to add a few of these to the inktober set but decided not to risk it!

It is the file that holds all your brushes.

Info on finding it:

Did you do that using a Ctrl run-up, or via the Settings dialog? If you used Settings, that acts differently from using a Ctrl run-up.
