Lens correction on macOS Sonoma not working?

Recommended Posts

Hello Affinity Staff.

After I updated to: macOS Sonoma Version 14.0, Lens Corretion doesn't work! It is not possible to find Lens Profile, for example: Canon RF 14-35 FA L IS USM. Is there an Update on the way, in Affinity Photo 2?

With best regards Aksel Lindegaard

Can you please confirm for me, are you reporting that the Lens Profile does not appear listed at all in the Develop Persona - or is the lens listed here, but not automatically applied when opening your RAW file?

Could you please attach a copy of a sample RAW here that uses this lens, so that I can test further?

Many thanks in advance :)

Hi @leonMo,

Thanks for letting us know - I can confirm our team have found this issue has been caused by the macOS Sonoma update directly and we've informed Apple of the bug introduced.

We're working to address this as soon as possible, thanks for your continued patience here :)

The issue "[macOS] Develop Lens Correction does not function on macOS Sonoma" (REF: AF-513) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2094".
This fix is already available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
