Since three days every file I created won't open anymore because an error message that claims "file seems to be damaged"

Is it a very annoying bug!

I attach one of the last file..

@gianni.brienza To confirm this is happening with every file that you've created? If you open the app, create a new file and save when reopening the file you receive the same message.?

Was these files last opened/saved in the previous version (2.1.1) and then after updating to 2.2 you received this message?

Are the files saved to a local location, an external drive or cloud service?

Hi, this issue only occurred for new files I created in the last 3 days. I had even created the attached file, I closed it and reopened it a few minutes later and it gave me the error. The version was 2.2.0 and the file was saved on the PC, even if the folder is synchronized with Pcloud.

If you are still getting file corruptions on NEW files (not previous ones) disable pCloud synchronisation for wherever you store you Affinity documents locally

Also, don't store/save your Affinity documents directly to pCloud (if that's even possible)

Then see if you still get file corruptions on documents created from that point forward (we need to eliminate pCloud synchronisation as a possible cause)

Don't forget to periodically backup your documents to another drive (not a synchronised cloud service) just in case you need to restore something later

Don’t save in folders with cloud sync active. The best way to avoid corruption issues is to save on non-removable internal disks or SSD where no cloud sync is used.

And to complete the information, files synchronized on mega have no problems, only those with pcloud.

That sounds like pcloud has the problem, then, if mega works.

I'm afraid I don't have any good suggestions for recovering the corrupted files, though.
