vpkumar
I am trying to figure out some way of fading a patch. Like in Photoshop there is an option to fade a patch. Is there any way to fade the patch selected in Affinity Photo V2
Ron P.
You can find the Fade command under the Layer menu. Whatever you just used, be it the Patch tool or others will be appended to the Fade command. The key is, if you're wanting to use the Fade command, you need to do it immediately following, like in your case, using the Patch tool. https://affinity.help/photo2/en-US.lproj/pages/LayerOperations/fade.html Quote Affinity Photo 2.5..; Affinity Designer 2.5..; Affinity Publisher 2.5..; Affinity2 Beta versions. PaulEC
Another option, if you know you will want to fade the patch, is to create a new layer above, then choose "Current layer and below" in the Context Toolbar. Then you can adjust the opacity of the patch layer. vpkumar 1 Quote Acer XC-895 : Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz : 32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 : Windows 10 Home Affinity Publisher 2 : Affinity Photo 2 : Affinity Designer 2 : (latest release versions) on desktop and iPad "Beware of false knowledge, it is more dangerous than ignorance."
