daniellin Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Hi I work a lot with brush (suppose most of people here does too) so I'm still deciding if I invest my money in the Affinity Designer or not I would like to know if you guys are planning in the near future to have a support for the .tpl extension to support brush made for photoshop, or if that wouldn't be possible because the coding and platform of Affinity is not similar at all to photoshop? do you guys think this support will eventually soon be available? jmac Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Hello daniellin, You can import photoshop brush .abr files in both Affinity products and then set the brush properties in Designer or Photo to try and get similar results to your .tpl in photoshop. I know it would be very convenient to be able to import .tpl files to Affinity, and I'm no expert, so I don't know if it is even possible, but I would be surprised if it was. Clara Montseny 1 Quote
Gussisaurio Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Has this feature been solved yet? It's been 4 years since the original question. Quote
ericodl Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 I would also love to know if there is any plan to be able to import TPL files into Designer Quote
Maria-B Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Interested in the answer too! I am checking, whether I can use Kyle Megapack in Affinity, which has .tpl exptension, and it seems like there is no way. Quote
