Birck
Yes, that's a quote from a previously-asked FAQ, but it didn't help because the answer to the question wasn't included. So: When a newbie is poking around, trying to follow instructions in Essential Affinity Photo2, and inadvertently pokes the wrong setting, what then? In my case, the UI became quite dark and difficult to read, and "undo" didn't undo anything. So how does one simply drop back to square 1 and start over, with readable color icons and a readable interface? Dan C
Hi @Birck, As mentioned above in the FAQ, you can use the CTRL reset procedure to return the app to default settings - however the specific option you have changed is the UI Style. If you wish to change this setting only, without resetting the app fully, please navigate to Affinity Photo 2 > Settings > User Interface, here you can change the UI Style from Dark to Light - and change any of the Contrast slider options, as required. I hope this helps
Birck
Thanks. You are right, of course. That took care of it, plus I learned that the vertical tools pallet doesn't actually light up until I open an image in the UI. That's new, at least to me.
