Arrows: Ugly overlap when opacity is less than 100%

Try adding a Fill colour to the Curve (any colour)

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

In the Colour panel try changing the Fill colour's opacity to 0%

I'd prefer this to be fixed

I have logged this with our developers to see if we can improve in this area.

I can actually see good use for the current overlap mode (and I think I've already used this somewhere in a design), so it definitely shouldn't be "fixed" just by totally removing it. thanks :)

For the record, as I just noticed, this works only if the stroke opacity has been changed via the Layers panel.
It doesn't work if the stroke itself has opacity < 100%.

Thanks very much Callum for logging this - it can definitely be improved!

Sorry but I can't see any point as there is little control over the amount of overlap and it looks like an error (which it is) however I'd love to see an example of it being used creatively :) .  If I did want a similar design element then I'd prefer to create two separate objects which would then give me complete control of the amount of overlap, stroke ends, blending modes and more.

Thanks for the workaround - I'll add that to my growing list of workarounds (grouping, applying linear transparency blend etc) :)

Personally (!), I can't see any point in having indices or cross references either, yet there they are now in Publisher. So what exactly is your point in stating this? ;)
