RichZep
Nik Collection works a treat with AP but it would be better and more convenient if it created it's own layer, as it does in Photoshop (sorry to mention that bit) Quote Affinity Photo 2.5.3 / Publisher 2.5.3 / Designer 2.5.3 Affinity Photo Beta 2.5.5.2636 / Publisher Beta 2.5.5.2613 / Designer Beta 2.5.5.2613 AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12 core / RAM 32GB / Windows 10 Pro version 21H2
loukash
Simply duplicate the layer before processing it. Not only for NIK but many of the other programs that work as a plugin in AF (Portrait Pro, Topaz Labs, Luminar Neo, Aurora HDR, etc)

AGLAGLAGL
Mac Ventura and AP2.2 Create a separate layer for Nik plugin. Use a preset but then adjust some of the preset lines. Apply to layer. Add more adjustment layers. Go back to Nik layer. Open the Nik plug in but not able to see any of the adjusted preset lines. In Photoshop I used to convert the separate layer to a smart object and then was able to go back to that layer and access the plug in adjustments. Is there any way to do this in AP2.2? Dave.Kelly
It would be nice if it imported as a new layer, but I tend to do most of my editing in On1PhotoRAW so I save the Nik edit as a PSD.
