This is the first time I’ve looked at Grids so I can’t say how it was in previous versions. I tried in a different document, same thing. Thank you. 2.2.0 ipadOs 16.6 Quote

Perhaps you just didn't notice it because you were expecting something big like the Guides Settings dialog? I was following along with a tutorial for the computer version and have been realising the differences but not that one. Thank you for clearing it up.
