Foolix
When I use the Edit Linked function and save it, this only changes the layer order on the very selected spread. Not on any of the others. I am using Publisher 2. Thank you for the thread. Felix
MikeTO
Hi Felix, that's the way it's supposed to work. Edit Linked changes the layers within the master page layer and are replicated on other pages based on the same master, but changes to the order of layers on the document page, such as moving the master page layer to the top, are for that single document page only. There isn't a way to move the master page layer to the top for all pages based on the same master. walt.farrell
Just now, MikeTO said: There isn't a way to move the master page layer to the top for all pages based on the same master As I mentioned in https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/156469-page-numbers-on-top/#comment-1126329 it can be done, but only via the menu Layer > Arrange > Move to Front. @Foolix: please describe the actions you took, in detail. Foolix
Thank you Walt - I had accidentally dragged the layers above one another and assumed that this would work equally. Now I used "arrange layers" and It worked a treat! Thank you very much ❤️ walt.farrell
