Staff NathanC Posted September 23, 2023 Staff Posted September 23, 2023 Welcome to the forums @paulofigueira typically, when there are issues with the app freezing/hanging/crashing when creating a new document or open an existing file this indicates an issue with your graphics card or graphics card drivers. I would suggest doing a clean install (if possible) of your graphics card drivers to the latest version, I have linked the driver search tools below dependant on your card model. One you have them installed, reboot your PC and try again. https://www.nvidia.com/download/find.aspx https://www.amd.com/en/support https://www.intel.co.uk/content/www/uk/en/download-center/home.html If it still freezes/crashes, try doing a complete uninstall of your graphics card drivers using a dedicated tool for this purpose (Such as DDU linked below) and then restart and install your graphics card drivers (using the links above to search) to completely refresh them. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html Failing that, as Ron mentioned it would be beneficial if you could provide us with a few crash reports if there are any available. Many thanks! Quote
