Partnerscomo Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Dear developers, I have just installed the updated Publisher (2.2) and at once encountered a serious problem. I cannot save (overwrite) files inside Icloud shared folders (Windows 11). I can „save as” as a new file, but can not overwrite anything. Inside other folders (outside of Icloud share) I can save. All my works are in shared Icloud folders, this way they are synchronised across my devices. Mihály Varju Quote
walt.farrell Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 You might check your Windows Settings, especially if you use the Controlled Folder Access function in Defender, and make sure that you've "white-listed" the new application. This could also apply to other anti-malware products you might be running, so you might check them, too. Staff NathanC Posted September 26, 2023 Staff Posted September 26, 2023 Hi @Partnerscomo, Thanks for reporting this, this appears to be a regression when saving to iCloud drive on Windows and is likely the result of the new file handling process introduced in 2.2. I've replicated the issue and logged it with the developers. Quote
