EkJohnson
I'm having a problem with paragraphs being split or moved to the following page when there's still ample room left on the previous page. For reference the content was created in Mac OS Pages, exported as a .docx and then File>Placed into a text frame to flow through the document. Adjusting the baseline seemed to help a bit but there are still oddly split paragraphs and all my tinkering and Googling is getting me nowhere. Thank in advance Obi Wan... walt.farrell
It's probably due to your Flow options. Preventing orphaned first lines and widowed last lines can have surprising effects like that. Also the Keep With Next setting will have effects like that. Your text has a lot of three line paragraphs which will play havoc with Widows and Orphans. And just a suggestion, get rid of the double paragraph returns used for spacing the paragraphs. Use Space Before and or Space After in the Paragraph Style definition. EkJohnson
heh, I guess I do tend to write short paragraphs. Thanks though for the tip about space before/after, that works really nicely! So much to learn...
