when opening new dialog box while the program is running, the dialog box is located off screen

Recommended Posts

affinity designer 2.2 windows 10 desktop using an xppen artist 12 second edition tablet  : when opening new dialog box while the program is running, the dialog box is located off screen and the create and cancel buttons are unable to be selected.  Moving the dialog box with windows-shift-arrow to another screen,  The title bar is still located way above any screen and unable to be accessed to move with the either mouse or stylus.

I can use the alt-space keys and move and resize to reposition the box so it is accessible, however, when I try to create a new file again, it is again located off screen.

If the xppen tablet is turned off, the dialog box opens in an monitor window normally.

Hi Dr-Sea,

This is a known issue with external displays etc it should hopefully be fixed in a future update. Just to confirm is it all dialog boxes or just the new document one etc? Please could you also confirm which monitor is set as your primary one within your Windows settings.

Thanks
C
