Add rename masterpage labels in Pages panel

Recommended Posts

Tip: you can rename a master page directly in the Pages panel. Select the master page and then click its label to edit the name without opening Spread Properties. Press Return to accept the name change. Don't double-click.

When was this Label tab added? How did I miss it. I have always had difficulty with the renaming by double clicking on the Master Page's name, my timing is off.

So thanks for pointing out this option. It will help me a lot.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

The field was there in v1, too, but it was grouped under Label in 2.0 when Spread Properties and Document Setup were redesigned.

Yeah indeed, the field was already there in V1.

I feel like a fool. Perhaps I am one. [resigned sigh emoticon]

It doesn't have to be a double-click. Three single clicks will work (at least on Windows).
