BartonFink Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 After updating to the newest version 2.2.0 of Designer on macOS there is no possibility to change the color profil. See video. In setting the default profil for cmyk is ISO coated v2. If I create a new document in Designer and the profile is ISO newspaper26v4. If I would like to change the color Profile to ISO coated v2 it always jumps back to ISO newspaper. No chance to change it. Have I done something wrong? Can someone help me? MikeTO Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 Hi, this issue has been reported by several users and Serif is aware of it. It appears to be an issue with the order of the items in the list. Try picking the item above or below the one you want to select and click OK and then return to the dialog - hopefully the one you wanted will be selected. Good luck! stokerg and BartonFink 1 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.5, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)

Staff stokerg Posted September 22, 2023 Staff Posted September 22, 2023 Hi @BartonFink, As @MikeTOhas stated, this is something we are aware of and have logged with the Developers. I've left a link on that report back to this thread, so we can update you when it's been resolved. Quote
antoine-b Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Hello, I have the same problem with Affinity Designer and Publisher 2.2.0, MAC.OS Monterey 12.6.8 (French localization). I will complete the bug: The preference profile is not recognised and another is automatically assigned when the old documents are opened. Document profiles must be changed each time a document is opened! And the colours checked Thank you for your attention to this problem. Quote
Hangman Posted October 9, 2023 Posted October 9, 2023 Hi @antoine-b, This is logged as fixed in the latest Beta Patch, v2.2.1.2052 so if you are part of the Beta program you could install this patch and give it a try to see if it resolves your issue. The Beta software can be installed alongside the retail version and both can run together side by side. If you're not yet enrolled in the Beta program and would like to join you can do so by clicking the link in @Ash's post here...
