Volker H.
Affinity Photo V2.2 "Schatten und Lichter" zeigt bei JPGs keinerlei Veränderung mehr. Dies war schon bei 2.03. Beta als Bug angegeben. Affinity Photo 2.2: I tried to change the white balance with different images (jpg) in the Develop Persona by changing White Ballance Adjustment Layer, but that doesn’t change the white Balance of my images anymore. There was no problem in doing so in Affinity photo 2.10 or Affinity Photo 2.0.0, but with 2.0.3 we had this as a bug
Dan C
Hi @Volker H., Thanks for your report! I can confirm that I'm not seeing this issue here, after opening a JPEG file and then navigating to the Develop Persona, I'm able to use either the White Balance or Highlight / Shadow sliders as expected: 2023-09-20 11-16-07.mp4 Are you able to provide a screen recording of the exact issue you are having please? If you're unsure how to take a screen recording, please check out our FAQ linked below - Many thanks in advance

Volker H.
OK, and thank you for your help: By toggling on the checkbox and activating Schatten & Lichter that works and changes the white ballance! Many thanks again!
Dan C
Thanks for providing that for me! As v_kyr points out, this is occurring as the Shadows and Highlights option are not enabled - however these should be automatically enabled when first adjusting the slider or expanding the section and therefore this is a UI issue in the latest update. I'm getting this logged with our development team now, I hope this helps
