Unofficial PDF Manual - Expert Guide to Affinity Publisher

Recommended Posts

Your manual is a huge help and explains a lot of features which it would otherwise be difficult to fathom.

You rightly warn about the dreaded 'Content-scaling handle'. It is a nightmare feature which I would like to see much more difficult to implement. I have still not got to the bottom of bizarre behaviour with footnotes suddenly increasing hugely in size (9pt to 37.5pt).

Anyway thanks. I spotted a minor typo on Page 58 in the second to last sentence. See attached. 'Than' instead of 'That'

Cheers.

Mike - this seems like great information to have, but I cannot download it.  I click on the button and it goes nowhere.  Im I missing something?  And, even though I don't have it, thank you for the effort you have put into this project. I am new to Affinity - moving over from Adobe.

It should just download, like any other file on this site.

On rare occasions, I've had downloads on this site stall after downloading only a few bytes and then nothing else happens which is probably an issue with Amazon Web Services where this site is hosted. When this happens, I just try again later and then it works fine. So hopefully when you come back to the forum you'll be able to download it.

Cheers

as MikeTO said, or you try to right click on the download link and choose "save as" from the context menu (depending what your OS/browser offers).:
