Font background is not 0% alpha

Recommended Posts

Hello, I apologise if this issues has already been raised.

I am trying to use the symbol in designer, and despite all of my efforts to find a way to remove it, the figure displays with a solid white background. It is my understanding that this is not the correct behaviour.

Thank you for you time.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

What is that symbol, and where did you obtain it?

Hi @mrig,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

I've tried copying this character from the above link and pasting it into a new document, which is working as expected for me - are you able to provide a copy of the .afdesign document that shows this issue here for me?

Many thanks in advance!

Ah! Yes this helps a lot, I do apologise, new to affinity and I'd not seen the character studio before! I was trying to change the colour from the colour and the swatches panel.

Thanks again, much appreciated, very glad that this was my ignorance and not a bug that anyone need to resolve!
