beth12
I am creating a hyperlinked pdf intended for digital use, It consists of several weeks each week has several templates that are hyperlinked within the same week, I made each week's file seperately and when I try to merge weeks, each hyperlink points to the page within the same week in which was created but when I export it all hyperlinks point to the templates of the first week. I'm using anchors, and each week have different anchor names and they are added seperately to the same file to create the merged file. I checked those hyperlinks in hyperlinks section in affinity publisher and everything is correct but whenever I try to export the file, they get messed up !! I'm honestly a little bit disappointed because I'm launching new products in my business, I have deadlines and this surprise really ruined it all, I worked with V1 before and I didn't encounter a similar issue that's why I kept working on the project without checking in in the first place and now my 3 month work is ruined. You can find attached below afpub and pdf files Operating system : Windows 11 Software : Affinity publisher 2 SUNDAY-WEEK2.afpub SUNDAY-WEEK2.pdf Edited September 17, 2023 by beth12
Dan C
Hi Beth, I replied to your support email, but you can reply here if you prefer. It looks like your exported document is correctly pointing at the locations you have specified, which application are you using to preview your exported documents? beth12
I am using Foxit reader to view my pdf. The problem isn't with the first week, the problem is with weeks after that 1st week, if you click on those buttons in the second week they will take you to the 1st week pages. Dan C
These also show correctly: Which app are you previewing your PDF in? Lee
beth12
The hyperlinks I'm encountering problems with are those associated with this buttons on top of the pages. this image shows where each button is supposed to take me when it's in week 01 which starts from page1 and week 02 which starts from page
Dan C
I just received your email and see that you are using Foxit I've tested the document on this too, as well as Chrome and Edge, and I'm also seeing the hyperlinks on page 2 correctly pointing to the selected pages. Could you try this on a different viewer? Lee
beth12
I tried using adobe acrobat and had the same problem I recorded my screen to make it more clear. When I'm in the first week (pages 1-9) all buttons take me to the corresponding page, but when I'm in the second week (page 10-11) buttons take me to corresponding pages that are in the first week. notice that when I click on them instead of taking me to 11th page for ex it takes me to the 2nd page. screen-capture.webm
Dan C
I receive the same behaviour, but looking at your source document (the one you sent is different to the one you are showing here), page 11's overview button is linked to page 1 of your document and behaves as such when exported. beth12
this is another problem when I click to display hyperlinks it always displays the first item in the list which is in this case (WEEK1 - 1) but when I use go to target button as shown in the image below it takes me to where it is supposed. (I encountered this in affinity publlisher v1 too but when I export the file it behaves as expected)
Dan C
Editing this hyperlink shows that it's pointing to that location: Lee
