Publisher crashes when open a .afpub-File

For about two weeks now I've been having a problem with Publisher crashing when I open the ProjectTemplate.afpub file.
This file is created as follows.
I have a project folder that contains, among other things, the file Projekttemplate.afpub. I copy this folder and adjust the folder name. Then I open project template.afpub and edit it. Do an export and save (don't save as) with the same name.
If I want to open the file again days (or weeks/months) later, Publisher starts, opens the file and crashes after about 15 seconds.
This always worked fine in the past.
I'm running Publisher 2.1.1, but I don't think it's a version issue.
Can anyone tell me how I can find out where the error could be

I was able to solve the problem by resetting the app in the app settings.
