Mainecoon364 Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 When I click “Document - Canvas - Clip To Canvas” nothing happens. So It does not cut out the excess part of the canvas out of the object. ??? (Not : I also tried rasterizing object going to pixel mode and doing it again. It does not work either.) Quote
walt.farrell Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Help: https://affinity.help/designeripad/en-US.lproj/pages/DesignAids/clipToCanvas.html Quote Clip to Canvas restricts the document view to just the objects on the page. When disabled, all objects on and off the page are shown. What you seem to want is the similarly named (but very different) function from Photo called "Clip Canvas" or "Unclip Canvas". Mainecoon364 Posted September 15, 2023 Author Posted September 15, 2023 Understand. You meant Affintity Photo App. Let’s say I created a logo on Affinity designer app. (As Vector) How should I export the logo as png just in a specific size and DPI? Quote

Resize the document to the size and DPI you want. Then Export. Or use the Export Persona, and create a Slice of the appropriate size. Mainecoon364 Posted September 16, 2023 Author Posted September 16, 2023 Method A) My logo is placed on a canvas in size A4. So I can not resize It 591 x 591 pixels. Because the ratio spoils. I don’t want to spoil the logo ratio. However I want to cut out 591 x 591 pixels around It. How can I do this??!! Method B) Step 1) I decreased the image’s (Logo) size by locking the ratio on the transform studio. Step 2) Export Persona - Create Slice - Adjusted the Slices Size Step 3) I can not move neither “Slice” nor “the logo image”??????? How can I do that? and after that what should I do? Quote
