bobdobbs
I'm using affinity designer 2 on mac. I've selected the text tool and started created text. The text is invisible. The layer opactiy is set to 100%. Opacity in the color panel is set to 100% But the text is still invisible. How can I make my text visible? Aammppaa
Without seeing your file it is impossible to say what is going on, but be aware that there are (at least) 8 ways to achieve transparency... thomaso 1 Quote Win10 Home x64 | AMD Ryzen 7 2700X @ 3.7GHz | 48 GB RAM | 1TB SSD | nVidia GTX 1660 | Wacom Intuos Pro
thomaso
The solution varies with the cause for the text being invisible. What type of text frame? Does the text cursor occur + move with your keystrokes? Does the bounding box show a text overflow icon? How about font size and indents? Maybe you should show a screenshot of your entire screen, including the Context Toolbar + the Layers panel with unfolded parent layers + the affected text object selected with the Text Tool. bobdobbs
Unfortunately I wasn't able to figure this out at all. So to make progress with this particular project I moved to Inkscape.

At least a screenshot may be easy to figure out. Just pressing Command-Shift-3 will create one ready for upload. https://support.apple.com/HT201361 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
