rayman54
Hello, I'm trying to determine if it's possible to open an image file from within Mac Photos, but from a shared album and not the library. Opening from Photos works well, but navigating through many images is cumbersome for me. I hope my description is clear... Thanks

R C-R
If you are asking if you can use the search field in the Open dialog with a shared Apple Photos album, I do not think that is possible because (at least in my older version of Apple Photos) in that app shared album items can not be titled, given descriptions, etc. by the user, & do not have file names (just long hex number references). I tried searching on one of those hex refs but it doesn't work for me. rayman54 1 Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.5.6 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 All 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.
