I have created a photobook including text material.  I am going to export as a PDF for print by a web-based book publisher.  So I have bleeds, etc.  I also want to export to share digitally.  I would like to export digitally to be viewed individual page by page and not as a spread.  Would I just go in to Document Setup and uncheck facing pages?  Is there any other changes I should make to save a digital version or to export for digital consumption?

No, you would handle it in the Export dialog by selecting Area "All Pages" rather than the default "All Spreads".

That is also how your web-based book publisher will probably want it. They are very unlikely to want a PDF exported as Facing Pages.
