shibibd Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Hi there, Firstly I have to say that you guys make great products. Unfortunately, I lost some hours of work with this bug after having edited without creating backups first. So I engage in loosing a bit more time on this issue in order to help improve the product so I can benefit from that fix when that comes out too. At least is what I'm trying to do here with this topic. I'm using Affinity Photo 2.1.1 on Windows 11 Home build 22621.2134 with an RTX 4080 (I know that it's overpriced :/) I've recorded the entire thing and added the file to reproduce the issue but here it goes the writen description. I tried to edit the alpha channel without afecting the RGB information. At first everything seems nice but when we open the file that affinity generates, we see that the rgb information was cropped in a box shape. I guess is due to the glitch that I also have when selecting different channels with that mask applied and zooming in and out. Hope that this can help to get that one fixed as soon as possible. Thanks for your time. 2023-09-07_10-30-40.mkv body_original.tga Quote
Staff Callum Posted September 11, 2023 Staff Posted September 11, 2023 Hi Shibibd, Welcome to the forums I'm sorry to hear your having issues exporting to TGA. Myself along with a few members of our QA team have been unable to replicate this bug here at our end. If possible would you be able to provide a shorter video that only shows the issue at hand and a copy of the affinity project file saved with save with history enabled so we take a more in-depth look at the operations you are performing within Affinity? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
shibibd Posted September 11, 2023 Author Posted September 11, 2023 Hi Callum, Thank you for taking this bug into account. Here's everything you need to reproduce this bug. I have also included the "updated_alpha_info" image which will replace the alpha that is currently in "body_original". Hope you can fix this problem, as it can waste your time if you don't check your files after export to see if everything is still fine without alpha applied. Meanwhile I'll continue to work with Krita. Don't hesitate to ask me something more if needed. body_from_affinity.afphoto body_from_affinity.tga body_original.tga updated_alpha_info.tga 2023-09-11_14-48-13.mkv Quote
