Designer 2.1.1 Preferences -> Shortcuts -> Edit panel not working properly

Using Designer 2.1.1 on MacOS Ventura (13.5.1) on a 2019 Intel MacBook Pro.

In the Preferences dialogue, with Shortcuts selected, the Edit view (to modify keyboard shortcuts for the Edit menu) has a few recurring problems. See attached screenshot.

  1. The bottom of the list shows 'Emoji & Symbols' more than once, and with different keys assigned to it.
  2. The number of 'Emoji & Symbols' entries grows over time if I return to it after setting other keyboard modifiers.
  3. The 'Emoji & Symbols' entries, with key assignments, reappear after restarting Designer even if all 'Emoji & Symbols' entries were set to 'none' previously.
  4. The 'Start Dictation...' entry (immediately above 'Emoji & Symbols') is shown as being set to the 'D' key after every restart of Designer after being set to 'none' previously.

FYI this is a known issue. There's another command like this, too, Window > Toggle Full Screen. These are OS commands and something goes a bit haywire with them when editing shortcuts.

The good news is this is mostly cosmetic, you can just ignore it.

The issue "[macOS] Duplicate entries for keyboard shortcuts" (REF: AF-63) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2083".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
