Variable Fonts in the works?

Hey @Ash, is Variable Fonts support for the V2 Desktop and/or iPad Apps being worked on for any V2 version coming in the future?

Hey @Ash, hope you are the right staff member to ask? Saw you on the beta forums, that's why I thought you might be the right person to ask.

I am pinging a few staff members without knowing either if they are the right ones to ask since you didn't answer for 20 days.

I get that you don't like sharing too much regarding things that might be a bit further in the future because of people reacting badly in the past, but Typography and therefore Variable Fonts are a cornerstone of design. Please share.

Didn't see that answer. Thanks for linking. But you are mistaken, it is not a duplicate, it is a question that has been somewhat vaguely answered elsewhere. Because consideration doesn't mean the feature is being implemented actively. But if anybody feels the same need for forum policing it can be closed of course. I really wish Affinity catches up with this and other features.
