automatic numbering in Affinity Publisher

Hello!

I need help to figure it out a couple of things.

 

I want to automatically order the pages. I watched a video and did it, the fact is that I want some empty pages before start with the auto-numbering

 

 for example:

empty page, empty page, empty page, 1, 2,3 ....etc

 

So I tried to give the auto number to mastro A and before those pages I gave the mastro B to the pages I don't want to be numbered.

 

so, something like that:

B,B,B , A A A

 

the problem is that B don't have numbers (good), but the first  A starts with numer 4....While I want the number 1.

What can I do?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

In addition to what you've done, you need to use the Section Manager to create another Section in your document. The first Section would have the 3 initial unnumbered pages. The new one will start at physical page 4, but you will configure that Section to start the page numbering at 1.
