GeirSol
Hi! I need to synchronize styles and masters across 4 documents (4 volumes of a book). How do I best do this?
Hangman
Hi @GeirSol, You have a couple of options... You could save your master document which includes your master pages and text styles as a template which you can then use as the starting point for all four volumes. You also have the option to 'Import Styles...' from another document (via the Text Styles panel menu) and decide which styles to import and/or overwrite if you've edited any of the default styles. You also have the option of making any styles you've set up the default styles by selecting 'Save as Default Styles' again from the Text Styles panel menu. The import styles would be my best bet here. Do they then merge in the new document (so, I need to watch for duplicates etc?)
Hangman
You'll be presented with an Import Text Styles dialog window where you can control which styles do and don't replace existing styles, rename styles or uncheck styles you don't wish to overwrite, rename styles and so on...
