I have tried deleting and reinstalling. restarting comp. firewall settings. clear bin, cookies, browser caches. still not loading. any update on this would be much appreciated. thank you. Did anything change since then? Which version of macOS are you using? Ms. Kaur Posted August 31, 2023 Author Share Posted August 31, 2023 Hey Mike Yes that worked mid July, this time publisher and photo worked by reinstalling but not designer still not loading. it doesn't show any warning, just loading symbol. no, nothings changed, only thing I did differently was, design on my iPad and airdropped it to iMac and opened it, worked on it for a bit and designer crashed and hasn't worked since. im using macOS Ventura 13.5.1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Staff Lee D Posted September 4, 2023 Staff Share Posted September 4, 2023 @Ms. Kaur Have you reset the app to default settings (This is different to reinstalling)? If not, hold down the CTRL key and open the app, when the options appear, release the key. Now click to option at the top to select all and then click Clear All (Note: this will clear any custom brushes, assets etc from the app) Can you also confirm that all your Affinity apps are V 2.1.1? Ms. Kaur Posted September 6, 2023 Author Share Posted September 6, 2023 Hi Lee I can now open Affinity Designer, but when I try to change the font or scroll down the list, the app starts lagging and stops almost like it's going to crash again, it does this for about 20/30 secs.
