On Windows, the Index panel in 2.2.0.1971 (MSIX version) does not have any options in the panel menu. It only has the standard Close and Close Group. I haven't checked the EXE version.

it appears to be an undocumented feature, it's not mentioned in the help page for the Index panel. It's not all that important, it just collapses the list a bit to save space for those who want to focus on creating topics first.

Yes, I know. And it's gone missing in the beta on Windows.

It does get a mention in the Help file but yes, the checkmark is 'stuck on 'Show Topics and References'...

The issue "[Win] Index panel is missing Show Index/and References options in Preferences " (REF: AF-21) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2083".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
