The misplaced bounding box after a document resize is something we are already aware of


You mention you are trying to rotate in your post. Changing a document from landscape to portrait in Document setup as you do in your video does not rotate it, it resizes it, which may be what is causing the confusion. You also have anchor objects to page selected which will not change the objects position or size, if you switch to resize it will keep the position and size of the objects relevant to the document proportions, for example the grey rectangle will continue to stretch across the bottom of the entire document.


The easiest way to rotate an entire page is to convert the document into an artboard with the artboard tool and rotate the entire artboard. This should have the result you may be looking for

Thanks, though this time my intention was to resize the document and repositioning the elements in a new layout.
