Is AMD GPU an issue with Designer 2.1? (Moved)

Recommended Posts

I remember having some issues a couple of years ago using Affinity’s designer: Random crashes and UI lagging. I’ve been using the software with no acceleration, which, off course I don’t want to do it anymore. Now, I’m planning buy a new GPU and would like to know if AMD GPU’s are still an issue. It was something regarding AMD’s drivers. Do they worked it out?

Thank you in advance.

So far I've never had any problems with AMD, The only thing in the Chrome browser is that he doesn't want to deal with videos like that, but since I can't learn from videos anyway, it doesn't bother me at all! There is obviously a codec missing!
Currently I am setting up a labtop with AMD CPU and AMD GPU, everything is running, all three Affinity 2.11 are running perfectly!
