Vixmag
Hi all. I’m on the month trial for affinity photo 2 for my iPad and I’m trying a few things out that I’ve seen other artists on you tube do. I’ve watched a video on how a lady had a large piece of art that she scanned into A4 sections and then using the panorama and stitch options she was able to put them back together producing an almost flawless join . I’ve been having a go of this with a few pieces of artwork and it’s not working. I’ve then read that panorama does not do well with flat images like this. Is this true? I’ve tried it several times with different images with a good overlap and out of 4 sections either 2 sections join up or none at all. They seem to just be placed on top of each other on the preview. Is this just an issue with the iPad version? Or is this the same with desktop? Any advice would be brilliant. I’m really enjoying messing about with the program but this is a deal breaker really for me on whether to pay after the trial. Thanks in advance. walt.farrell
I suspect you don't have enough overlap between your 2nd and 3rd slices. Hi Vixmag, Welcome to the forums I would agree with Walt that this is likely the cause of this. Thanks C walt.farrell 1 Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
