Designer 2.2 UI problem. No difference between active and unactive menu items.

I see a clear difference between them in your screenshots, and in your video, though not a strong as on my systems. What brightness/contract settings do you have in your application Settings under User Interface?

If the non-beta programs do not have this problem, do your application Settings match between the beta and non-beta?

Also, if you truly see no difference, you might try adjusting your screen brightness or contrast.

I cannot see difference in Dark style when i change Text Contrast. Instead Light style works well.

Changing the slider in the dark interface affects both active and inactive menu items, although it should only affect the active ones. In the light interface, it works correctly.

The importance of a clear distinction between active and inactive elements is paramount for a user interface. This distinction must be consistently visible to ensure an optimal user experience.

Examination of the screenshots and video does indeed show contrast, but it may not be sufficiently pronounced on all screens. Before considering individual solutions or screen adjustments, I think it’s essential to check whether this concern also exists in the standard version of the application, with identical settings.

If the problem is specific to the beta version (as I understand it, this is not the case), it’s obvious that a fix is needed. If the problem also persists in the public version with the same settings, however, this could mean the need for designer intervention to optimize contrast management.

The interface must offer a clear and constant distinction between its various elements, whatever the conditions of use. This guarantees not only a quality user experience, but also an efficient, error-free operation.

To guide the user towards optimal parameterization, I would also recommend adding an illustrative situation to the parameterization menu, which is currently not offered.

Mais je vous le demande, peut-on imaginer une police sans sérifs ?

Thanks anto - the extremes of those two sliders aren't playing well with disabled menu items.

In Light UI they're impossible to read (as tzvi20 has linked to above) and in Dark UI its impossible to distinguish which is disabled.

I've updated the issue with development and suggested that disabled items shouldn't be affected by these items, or at least the effectiveness of the sliders should be lessened for them.
