Hi everyone,

I just started learning how to use Affinity Designer and trying to apply noise effect (sorry if this question has been asked before)

Is there a way to replicate such noise effect & brush effect on Affinity Designer? (starting from 44:50)

Would be so helpful if anyone could point out how to do that on Affinity Designer  (or such effects are only possible through Affinity Photo?)

The attached file is my first illustration work. Feel free to take a look.

(though the video is taught in Illustrator but I still manage to apply on Affinity  :P )

Hi zuno,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

You can apply Noise to an object selecting it then going to the Colour panel and clicking on the small colour well below the Opacity word to switch it to Noise. Then just drag the slider. You can also use this to affect several objects, creating for example a rectangle covering all the drawing, applying Noise to it and changing the blend mode of the rectangle.
